I am Cindy, a Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of Relaxation Desire Mobile Massages, LLC.
My passion is helping others in their healing journey.
I gained more confidence in massage working at a Chiropractor's office, I witnessed at first hand the power of massage having clients who were in severe chronic muscle pain and working with them on a weekly basis I really saw improvement on there range of motion, also felt stress knots reduce in size and witnessed how massages soothe and relax the body, making them feel like themselves again. I use a variety of different modalities. A couple of my favorite modalities are deep tissue, sports massage, and trigger point therapy. Every person has different areas of concern, with a number of different modalities to customize your massage. I would be honored to take this journey with you!
If you have constant muscle pain from work, bad posture, working out or accumulated muscle tension; deep tissue massage will help loosen those tight muscles. Deep tissue massage can help release tension in the lower back, neck, and shoulders, and improves posture. Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body.
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage focuses more on superficial tissue and is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.
Sports massage is a suitable treatment for anyone requiring remedial care or soft tissue mobilization. Despite the name suggestion it's meant for athletes, this type of massage is beneficial for everyone. It involves stretching the muscle, which helps to lengthen tight and contracted muscles that can lead to soreness. Sports massage therapy concentrates on deep tissue work and may target specific areas of the body. This approach combines both deep and lighter techniques to relieve muscle tension and enhance blood circulation.
Trigger point therapy involves releasing tension by applying pressure to alleviate stress on the affected area rather than just the associated pain. This is achieved by applying different levels of pressure to muscle knots and then stretching the affected area through its full range of motion.
Your body's working hard enough, so let an expert trained in pregnancy massage work some magic on your muscles.When receiving a prenatal massage, the therapist will avoid using deep pressure on your abdomen and legs and will focus on relieving tight muscles on your back while client is on side-lying position. Client must be on second trimester due to increased risk for miscarriage associated with the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
The benefits of cupping include local pain relief as well as better muscle mobility by separating all the muscle layers and by drawing impurities to the surface, it removes toxins.
